Equality In Education

Schools Out Working towards equality in education for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans people.
Education for All Coalition led by Stonewall that aims to ensure that all young lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) people can fulfil their potential, and that the UK’s schools and education systems can deal appropriately with homophobia and homophobic bullying.
EACH Educational Action Challenging Homophobia run a freephone helpline for reporting homophobic bullying.

Parentline Plus Run telephone support groups for lesbian and gay parents and a discussion forum for families dealing with homophobia.
newfamilysocial A group run for and by lesbian and gay adopters, and those taking their first steps towards adoption.

Colage US-based group: Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere.
Rainbow Rumpus US-based internet magazine for kids with LGBT parents. Includes stories, reviews, music and video (a clip from ‘It’s Elementary’, a film addressing anti-gay prejudice), and a bulletin board.

Women and Equality Unit Has a good section on Lesbian and Gay Issues.
Stonewall Give information about the legal position of lesbians and gay men as parents and otherwise.
